Pretty Girl

Cooper has had the spotlight since the broken arm so today is all about Libby. We had a photo session on Sunday. Here are some of my favorites:
Not to ruin the surprise but you'll probably get one of these with your birth announcement. I know, it's crazy that Lib is 6 months old and I'm just now sending birth announcements. What can I say, I've been busy!
Libby is really trying to move around these days. She sort of "scooches" across her pallet until she gets to the rough rug, then she cries. It's sort of her fun game. Speaking of games, I finally got her an excersaucer. It's really cute. It has little teapots on it. Very girly! It only took me about 4 hours to put it together. Maybe tomorrow I can post some pictures of her in it.

What broken arm?

Cooper had his last camp of the summer this week (since golf camp is out) unless you count "redneck camp" that uncle Andy is planning in Tennessee. It was at his new school. He had fun, as always. On the last day he went home with Ben, which is always a treat.

We had to get some pictures of "the girls". They are already fast friends. Libby was kicking her legs and smiling and trying to touch Maggie's face. Maggie may have been a little leery; Libby definitely has a few pounds on her!

The boys had to get in on the picture action too! How cute is this going to be when they are all teenagers!

Today (Saturday) Cooper went to a friend's birthday party at the bowling alley. He loves to bowl! Then we went to the uniform store to try on uniforms for school (he looks super-cute in his polyester uniform). Finally, we went to a movie. This was the first time in his entire 5 years of life he has sat through a movie with me. Aside from asking me if the movie was almost over every 10 minutes, he was good.

Broken Arm Update

Today we saw our local orthopedist for a check up. Everything is still good but he thought it would be best to get a real cast. Cooper requested blue. It's cool. He can move a lot better in it, plus you can sign it!
